Welcome to the latest issue of The David Silver Honda Collection News Bulletins. Further new models added to the Collection!

- 1960 Dream C72 (Red) – from the late Dave Ayesthorpe collection, a restored first year model.

- 1985 ND50M Melody II Deluxe (Yellow) – a kind donation to the collection from Mr. N Jones.

- 1990 ST1100 Pan European (Red) – a first year UK model.

- 1969 CB750 (Candy Blue-Green) – a very early sandcast model fully restored by Vic World.

These new additions take our collection display to 193 classic Honda models (up from 150 when we first opened in July 2016!) ranging from 1948 to 1992. A full list of all models on display can be found on our museum website. We are currently seeking original early UK examples of: RC30; NS400R; GL1500 Gold Wing and XL600V Transalp.

Museum expansion!

Our new Honda Off-Road Paddock is now open which features early CR, MR, TL and ATC models. This is in addition to our recently opened Honda Reading Room where visitors can freely sit and study various interesting documents from over 200 model by model fact-files.

Cops Corner – A new display area within the first-floor of the museum to showcase our range of early original Honda Police bikes as used in various countries.  Currently showing the following Police models: 1963 CYP77; 1966 CB450P; 1975 CB550P; 1979 CB750P and a 1984 CBX750P. To be joined next year, after restoration, with an early 1970 CB750P (K0) and a 1980 CB650P.

Monkey Business – In celebration of the many Honda mini-bikes, we now present, in one new area on the first-floor of the museum, a fine collection of these iconic fun models from the very first production CZ100 Monkey (white tank) to the CZ50M and on to the CT70, ST70 and ST90 models.

Our recent CB750 50th Anniversary Open Day was a great success with 90 formal entries for the contest element of the day and over 200 visitors from the UK, Europe and USA in attendance.  A short video, images and news releases can be found on our museum website.

Further special events will take place during 2019 with dates and information to be announced.
